On Thursday, we at PokerNews would like to ask our readers a simple question that we know will produce a variety of responses. Of course, it happened and we could not be happier. On our Facebook page, we asked, “What prompted you to start playing poker? Do you watch TV or play games at home with friends? Tell us how you got the start!”

The overwhelming response. It was really amazing to read so many great stories, and we want to share some of our favorites with you.

Tom Loy of California: I was laying by the pool in California contemplating my future. I said, “Lord, what will I become a champion in the future?” He said, “Poker,” so I learned how to play poker Bandarq Fund. He did not give me a date, though. That’s how it happened.

Jonathan Lewin of Toronto: I play poker heads-up with the former host of NBC Nightly News Tom Brokaw while we were stuck in an elevator in Rockefeller Center on a winter day in 2003. He said I reminded him of the young Doyle Brunson. I told her that she reminded me of an old Tom Brokaw.

Kitty Pene from Australia: I started playing online at Pisangqq. That led me to play in the Australian National League and Amateur Poker League free poker games in local pubs and clubs. Finally I started playing the game of money, which led to playing in the Crown Poker. Like.

Merrill Peterson of Arizona: As a teenager, I was playing poker with friends, using money earned by delivering newspapers. We played five-card draw, seven-card stud, and other variations. This was before the famous Texas Hold’em. After a long period away from the game, I again experienced poker on television, where Texas Hold’em is the game of choice. I do not know how the game works. I learned to play new games at Zynga, playing with fake money on free sites. I ended up walking into a casino poker room and start playing $ 3 / $ 6 and $ 4 / $ 8 limit Texas hold’em. At first, I was afraid of skills and extensive experience of the players who faced and lost a lot of my time playing. I then decided to take the game seriously, to study the books, start tracking caution I play, and hired a poker coach. My game improved, I pass no limit, and started playing tournaments. Not satisfied with the low-level game in Arizona, I began to come to Las Vegas to play, where competition and the amount of money available is much greater. I fell in love with Vegas and the poker community. I traveled to Las Vegas many times, staying for about a week each time. Recognizing that Vegas is my future, I bought a house so that I will always have a place to stay and play. I now live in Las Vegas permanently.

Patrick Arnold of Frankston, Victoria: The mind has a pile of cash and hot women around got me hooked. I mean, if Jean-Robert Bellande can do it, why can not we? Anyway, I’m still waiting for the cash and hot women.

Rob Patent of Britain: I’m bored of all the games house. While in the casino, I saw a table and sat down. I immediately lost my buy-in, but was forever hooked.

Ben Triptek Robertson from United Kingdom: It was the idea of having total freedom to make money doing something I love and do not grind out a nine-to-five job thing. I also started playing poker because I wanted to beat my friends and like to win.

Eric Boelzner of New Hampshire: I started playing five-card draw when I was 10 years old for nickels and dimes with occasional quarter bet with my uncle. Years later, I’ve moved past changes and sticking Texas hold’em, seven card stud, and razz.

Chris Anderson of Michigan: My grandfather had cancer and was lying in bed when I was aged between five and nine years. We started with playing pinochle, then the bridge until we graduated to poker. We also bet on the horse, though we never went to the track.

David Bowles of Oregon: I grew up going with my pops to Atlantic City and started playing stud at Tropicana Poker Room. I used to sneak to the uncle of my ID. I was 15 years old at the time and still have the same ID card they gave me the name, but the picture I was about 36 years ago.

Frederic Barnich from West Virginia: I started playing online poker and Agen Bandarq in 2005 when I was dating my boyfriend, who is now my wife. She says she is playing free online poker with some friends and asked if I wanted to play. I’ve never played poker in my life, but the same night I was on PartyPoker and since then I never stopped playing. Now I play the game of money regularly in Charles Town, West Virginia. I try to make the trip several times a year to Atlantic City for a cash game and tournament life. I look forward to playing in the World Series of Poker Circuit Atlantic City in November.

Chryl Kotula of Minnesota: My son taught me so I’ll have a hobby when I retired.

Players also can try beramin at our official site lapakqq with various puz that we provide here.

Lisa Ellison of Stanford: I started playing poker during the first strike hockey years ago. I was playing seven-card stud at that time and they started showing hold’em on TV instead of hockey. I played my first major hold’em tournament in 2005 in Poker Championship title in Niagara Falls. It’s been a love-hate relationship since.
